Hi there! I'm Madalyn Sklar, known online for decades as the tattoo-wearing social media evangelist and online community builder. And now I'm hosting the Kratom Stories Podcast.
Why am I so passionate about Kratom, you ask? It's not just because of the compelling stories I've been privileged to share on this show. It's also deeply personal.
Let's rewind a bit. For nine long years, my life revolved around pain management for degenerative disc disease in my neck and back. I endured countless procedures that never amounted to relief and struggled with constant battles at the pharmacy. All of this only to have my doctor decide to stop treating patients due to government policies over pharmaceuticals. Sadly, I was cut off from my meds and thrown into a forced taper.
Terrified and desperate, I stumbled upon A Leaf of Faith, a profound documentary shining a light on a botanical lifesaver called Kratom. After thorough research, I decided to give it a try. On this new path, I joined several Facebook groups filled with members who were amazing in helping to educate me on this new journey.
Fast forward to now, it's been five years. Kratom became my ticket to freedom. It's worked miracles where opioids failed miserably. The best part? I do not experience any side effects. It doesn't cause me to feel loopy or high. I have no fear of overdosing. This botanical, that I responsibly consume, allows me to live my life free from debilitating pain.
It's been eye-opening and sparked the creation of the Kratom Stories podcast. A place to share, discuss, and celebrate the remarkable transformations people have achieved through this incredible plant. It's my way to give back and help others.
