In this episode, we have an open conversation about Kratom, 7OH, and why we believe regulation and education are better solutions than prohibition. We discuss what happens when products are banned instead of responsibly regulated and why consumers shouldn’t lose access because of the actions of bad actors or irresponsible use.
The conversation also explores the experiences of chronic pain consumers, including Twinkle’s personal story and why several of us have changed our views on 7OH as we’ve listened, learned, and seen how people are using it responsibly. We also question why concentrated Kratom extracts have largely disappeared from the conversation while 7OH has become the primary focus.
Later, we discuss the confusing federal “one milligram per article” language and why the lack of a clear definition could have implications beyond 7OH. We also look at Senator Ron Wyden’s newly announced investigation involving federal Kratom policy and why consumers have every right to ask questions about what is happening behind the scenes.
